When we are pushed to the edge of our emotional and physical limits, imagination and hope will lead the way—if we let them.

The setting of this story begins in southern Idaho and concludes in central Nevada. The towns and characters are fictional yet familiar. The saga begins with the two main characters as victims, but the book isn't about victimization. Nor is it about cowboys or rodeo or country living. I believe it's a story about self-determination, justice, and redemption. You may discover something more, and I hope you do. The spiritual encounters in this book are based on what I call Spiritual Realism. There are bits of fantasy, too, but you will have to decide which is which.
Unfortunately, it is also an American story. One that gazes deep into the blight of a society that has lost its way. The inspiration came from two dreams I had in 2022. Soon thereafter, the sensational side of my musings filled in the blanks, and I began telling the story through songs. With the encouragement of my granddaughter Josie, the songs became a novel.
